Manhattan Soloists
The Manhattan Soloists is a dynamic ensemble which consists of David Glukh (Piccolo Trumpet), Mikhail Kuchuk (Violin), Alexander Abayev (Violin), Boris Deviatov (Viola) and Stan Orlovsky (Cello). The Ensemble has united critically acclaimed soloists and chamber musicians to create a chamber music group which is unique by instrumentation and repertoire. Members of Manhattan Soloists collectively and individually have performed in fine concert halls such as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Wigmore Hall in London, Museum Louvre in Paris, Mostly Mozart and Newport Festivals. Members of the ensemble have also enjoyed collaborations with the finest solo, chamber and orchestral musicians working on the international performance scene today: Yuri Bashmet, Charles Vernon (Bass-Trombone – Chicago Symphony), Ruth Laredo, Vladimir Spivakov, Daniel Phillips (Orion String Quartet), Dmitri Shebalin and Valentin Berlinsky (Borodin String Quartet), Samuel Sanders and others.
